Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is conveniently located just off the 401, close to restaurants and shopping, making it a good spot for both business and pleasure travel. While the noise from the busy street was a downside, the overall stay in Cambridge on Thursday March 29 was pleasant with colorful walls adding a vibrant touch to the decor.
The hotel had modern and spacious rooms that need a really good clean; it was decorated in grey and brown, lacking some bright abstract art to liven up the drabness. The service was attentive, ensuring our stay went without a hitch, thanks to the wonderful staff. The location, on busy Hespeler Road, just off the 401, although convenient for restaurants and shopping, was fronted by a noisy street. The dining experience offered a good variety of food but was marred by greasy, chaotic service. Overall, the facilities were satisfactory, offering some basic amenities.
The hotel had a few pros like being conveniently located for quick access to Kitchener/Waterloo and Cambridge and perfect for our needs. However, the rooms were a little bare and under renovation, causing some inconvenience.
The hotel rooms felt a bit cheaply decorated like a dorm, but they were HUGE, clean, and recently renovated at a subsidized rate, which we appreciated. The establishment exceeded our expectations for its size; however, the dreary grey and brown decor could use some bright abstract art in turquoise, lime, and coral to liven up the atmosphere.
The hotel offers a comfortable stay, great for business trips, with clean and bright rooms for a peaceful night's sleep. The service excels in professionalism and friendliness, though some staff may lack empathy. The location is convenient, close to major highways and shopping options, despite some noise from nearby streets. Dining options are delicious with reasonable pricing. Overall, a solid choice with room for improvement in certain areas.
